Loki loves his new forever home!

Well, we had decided to hold off on doing any new rescue's during hurricane repairs and construction, but this little rescue found US!

He was in horrible shape, and we are not sure exactly what his story is, but we do know it involved fire of some sort.

We found him hiding under a stack of lumber in our yard. He was covered in soot and the pads of his feet burned, along with his whiskers and part of one of his eyes (which thankfully healed nicely, however his vision was affected).

There were not any house fires or anything like that in our area at the time, so we have no idea how he was burned and covered in soot.

Here he is during the first meeting with our dog, Dalai (He was not so happy about this meeting, but she is going crazy to take care of him like she has all the rest).
